CBC Maritimes Television Joy Award - $10,000
$5000 in cash towards second or later draft of a script intended for television (short drama up to half-hour, or documentary up to one hour), plus
Up to $5000 in production and/or post-production services, subject to scheduling availability, towards a demo for the script, or towards a writer’s demo reel.
CBC Television will have first opportunity to option the script and/or demo developed under this Award.

The Joy Award - $16,200
$10,000 in rental services and $500 in materials from PS Atlantic (Halifax).
$1,000 in film stock from Kodak Canada Inc.
$500 in cash from Prime Insurance.
$3,000 in post-production services and equipment from the Atlantic Filmmakers Coop.(this portion of award can only be used if winner is a resident of Nova Scotia).
$1,200 in equipment rental from 45 North.

Joy Post - $18,100
$10,000 in post production services and $600 in materials from Power Post.
$5,000 in services from the National Film Board of Canada Documentary East Atlantic.
$2,500 in lab, audio or video services from Technicolor.

Newfoundland Joy - $14 ,200
$2000 in cash from CBC Television Newfoundland and Labrador.
$7,500 in rental services from Atlantic Studio Cooperative.
$1,200 in script consultation from John W. Doyle.
$2,000 in post production services and $500 towards production equipment rental from the Newfoundland Independent Filmmakers Cooperative.
$1,000 in film stock from Kodak Canada Inc.
Only Newfoundland residents may apply.

New Brunswick Joy - $16,500
$10,000 in rental services and $500 in materials from PS Atlantic (Halifax)
$3,500 in equipment or facilities from the New Brunswick Filmmakers’ Co-operative.
$1,500 in cash from Film New Brunswick.
$1,000 in film stock from Kodak Canada Inc.
(Note: The New Brunswick Joy Award will be adjudicated by a New Brunswick peer jury, and will be announced at the Silver Wave Festival November 08-11, 2007.)
Only New Brunswick residents may apply.

Note: Residents of New Brunswick, Newfoundland, PEI, and Nova Scotia may apply for the CBC Television Script Development Award, the Joy Award, Joy Post and the Helen Hill Animated Award.
